The Platform U-Step2 Walking Stabilizer is designed for users with neurological conditions who have upper body weakness. The patented U shaped base provides stability, maneuverability and control to increase walking independence for those with Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, ALS, MSA and PSP.
The Platform U-Step2 Walking Stabilizer has adjustable forearm supports that provide additional support for users with weak upper body or stooped posture. The forearm attachments are highly adjustable for optimal set up for the user. The U-Step2 features an innovative braking system that is easy to use and allows the user to have complete control. The walker will not roll unless the user is ready to walk and lightly squeezes the release. Once the lever is released, the unit stops immediately. This feature is particularly helpful when standing up from a chair because the unit will not roll away.
The U-Step2 Walking Stabilizer has a unique wheelbase and frame that surrounds the user and moves with them, providing added stability and support in every direction. It is not like pushing a standard rolling walker. Unlike other rolling walkers, users can adjust the rolling speed of the walker. The patented spring loaded front caster system easily glides over uneven surfaces.
