I bought this for myself due to having a thumb brace and then cast on my dominate hand. I write a lot for my job and this enabled me to still do that. The design and shape was great to fit in the small space the brace and cast allowed. Have recommended this product to others already.

Not quite right
I bought this thinking it might help my Dad, who has no thumb muscles and very weak finger muscles. I was hoping it would help hold utensils and writing instruments. The grip is not tight enough to hold a fork or pencil steady. If you exert pressure, the fork slips sideways in the grip. We also had to use several rubber bands around the handle of the fork to secure it in the large slit of the grip. So we are not finding this grip useful after all.

Very helpful
I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and writing is difficult and painful for me. I use these with pens for writing, with markers for coloring and for many other household uses. I've recommended these to many people who love them as well.
